Söderskär in Tammisaari is the home base of Meriankkuri Oy. Söderskär also serves as the home port for the motor yachts M/Y Quanta Pro (Fairline 62) and M/Y Wetteri (Nordstar 42 + FLY). The island is located in the outer archipelago of Tammisaari, along the Olympic waterway. Currently, there are four piers situated around the island. On the eastern side, there is a new massive concrete pier (built by TN Laiturit Oy), sturdy enough to accommodate vessels up to 30 meters in length.
Meriankkuri will invest in constructing a new guest marina on the southern shore of the island for cruise ships. The substantial concrete pier will be approximately 60 meters long, equipped with necessary electrical and water connections for even the largest vessels.

From 2023, the traditional port of Skogby in Hankoniemi is the home port of the largest ship in the fleet, M/S Terwatoppila. The harbour is located along the shipping lane leading to Tammisaari. A steam sawmill and residential communities have operated in the harbour area before. Even before this, from the end of the 17th century, a blast furnace belonging to the Fagervik ironworks operated in Skogby. The Finnish Museum Agency has classified Skogby as a “nationally significant built cultural environment”. Skogby harbour is currently owned by Meriaura Oy, and the company’s goal is to develop maritime living that emphasizes the history and ecological values of the area. In Meriankkuri Oy, we are always interested in maritime traditions, so the location of the M/S Terwatoppila in Skogby fits well.
